Teenagers Barclay Brown and Annabell Fuller will represent England in the Junior Open at Kilmarnock (Barassie) from 11-13 July.
The Junior Open is organised by the R&A and played every two years. It is closely linked to The Open and played on a nearby course.
Barclay Brown, 15, (Hallamshire, Yorkshire) had a string of high finishes in major U16 championships last year and followed up this season with 11th place in the Peter McEvoy Trophy.(Image © Leaderboard Photography).
Annabell Fuller, 14, (Roehampton, Surrey) has just won the girls’ title at the Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters by nine shots. She was runner-up in the Scottish U18 championship, the U16 spring championship and the Frilford Heath Salver.
Both players are in England U16 regional training squads and represented England in the recent U16 international against Spain.
