Competition Summary

The BrabazonTrophy is arguably the top stroke play event in the world for amateur men. It is one of England Golf’s major championships and a title sought by leading amateurs.

The Brabazon Qualifier is a stroke play qualifier played over 18 holes, for a place in the English Men's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship, which will take place at Frilford Heath Golf Club (Red Course), 31 May - 3 June.

There are two regional qualifiers each year to cover the north and south of England.

There will be a guaranteed minimum of 30 qualifiers from each of the two regional qualifying rounds.

Established in 1913 Camberley Heath Golf Club was designed by the legendary H. S. (Harry Shapland) Colt. His legacy is an outstanding heathland course, where natural contours have been used to enhance the "strategic golf experience". Camberley Heath has a rich golfing heritage. The Duke of York, later to become King George VI, was an honorary member and the Prince of Wales followed as patron of the club.
