English Senior Women's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship

The 54-hole event is open to women aged 50 or over on the first day of the championship. 

The full field will play 18 holes on each of the first two days.  Then the leading 45 competitors and ties will play the final 18 holes on the third day. 

The winner will return the lowest gross score over 54 holes. 

  • 21.06.18: Helen tames winds for second senior title - Senior international Helen Lowe overcame a six-shot deficit - and strong winds - to win her second national championship.
  • 15.06.18: Jackie targets a senior hat trick - International Jackie Foster will target a hat trick of titles when the English senior women's open stroke play championship starts next week at Belton Park Golf Club, Lincolnshire.
  • 22.06.17: Jackie charges to retain her senior crown - Hertfordshire's Jackie Foster played superb sub-par golf today to charge away from the field and successfully defend her title as English senior women's stroke play champion.
  • 21.06.17: Aileen edges ahead in senior championship - International Aileen Greenfield moved into the lead in the English senior women's stroke play championship with a second round of level par 72 at Harpenden in Hertfordshire.
  • 20.06.17: Felicity sets the pace as the temperature rises - Surrey's Felicity Christine dislikes the heat - but shot two-over par 74 in scorching temperatures to lead the first round of the English senior women's stroke play championship at Harpenden, Hertfordshire.
