The England Golf Annual Review of 2018 is now available to view or download.
It reports on highlights from the year, together with the impact of our initiatives, the championship successes of our players and information on our income and expenditure.
Innovations in 2018 included the first Women and Girls’ Golf Week, an online and social media campaign to raise awareness which generated 12m Twitter impressions.
The Get into Golf campaign was relaunched with a bold, modern look which was designed to change perceptions about the sport.
Clubs were also helped to prepare for change with workshops on the new Rules of Golf and the World Handicap System, which will come into force in 2020.
In their foreword, England Golf Chairman Nic Coward and Chief Executive Nick Pink comment that the achievements of the year “provide us with a strong foundation to meet the challenges and opportunities which lie ahead.”
