Golf Club Membership Questionnaire

As part of England Golf's research strategy, the Golf Club Membership Questionnaire is distributed to all affiliated golf clubs every two years.

This biennial study was completed by SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC. on behalf of England Golf in 2014 and is designed to help England Golf understand the membership situation nationwide and within each county. Copies of the questionnaire were distributed to every affiliated golf club in the country in February 2014.

The collated responses to this questionnaire will provide a comprehensive picture of what is happening in English golf clubs, including trends over time, key themes and importantly areas of best practice and recommendations that we can share through initiatives at club level. It is also a vital tool to help measure the key club actions outlined in the England Golf Strategic Plan 2014-2017 that will help us to grow the game together.
