Salary Band 4 (£24,725 - £37,088 per annum plus benefits
One of the Senior Regional Manager’s main duties is to work with County Unions, Associations and Development Groups within a designated region on all aspects of golf development to implement national strategy locally. They are also required to oversee, support and manage a Regional Manager and a network of County Development Officers to deliver golf development within a specific region and counties.
You will need to have knowledge of national, regional and county based sport along with the structure of golf. It is essential that you have the ability to manage, empower and influence and are able to work with professionals and volunteers. Prior work in a leisure or golf related industry is essential and that of sports development or club management and operations work.
The post is full-time (Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm core hours) however you will be required to travel/work weekends and evenings as appropriate. It is preferred that the person lives within the Counties associated with this role due to travel requirements. The successful candidate may work from home or other remote office (for example golf club or country office).

The Women's Advisory group provides assistance and suggestions to support the development of women and girls' golf. It also supports England Golf and other key partners to increase opportunties for women and girls to participate in golf at all levels.
The group is made up of approximately 20 volunteers and from a range of backgrounds. Meetings are held at a central location and travel expenses are reimbursed to those who attend.

England Golf is seeking applications for the voluntary position of Regional Manager to the U16 Girls' Squad in the South East Region. The South East Region comprises the geographical area of Sussex and Kent.
The squads comprise of a maximum of eight players each chosen at an Assessment Weekend and are for players under 16 years of age. Please note that the 2016/17 coaching programme has commenced.
The voluntary position will require a commitment based on 20 days of coaching, plus attendance at the England Golf Christmas Coaching Conference, coach and manager education days and any relevant team meetings and tournament attendance.
The focus of the role will be to assist the Regional Coach with the delivery of the U16 Regional Coaching Programme and to successfully manage and mentor the players to give them the best environment for their golf development.
Requirements of the Applicant:
- A working knowledge of elite amateur golf;
- Dedicated to elite junior golf development;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Sound management skills;
- Enthusiastic, personable and competitive.
