The following vacancies are currently available:
Salary £20,000 per annum (plus expenses)
England Golf is seeking applications for the position of Hampshire County Development Officer to drivie the delivery of the 'Recruit' and 'Retain' elements of the Hampshire Golf Partnership Operational Plan up to 31st march 2017, in line with the England Golf Partnership's Whole Sport Plan 2013-2017.

England Golf's Strategic Plan 2014 - 2017 aims to bring together all who care about golf to 'raise our game' to bring a bright future for the sport and inspire lifelong involvement in golf. The plan highlights the need to increase regular participation and club membership, with a focus on developing and promoting programmes to attract under-represented groups.
To support the growth of women and girl's golf, England Golf have produced a summary document detailing six key areas of development for 2014 to 2017, part of this is to create the England Golf Women and Girls' Advisory Group. This group will support the Women and Girls' Manager and ensure the six key areas of development are progressed.

Successful applicants must have:
• A working knowledge of elite amateur golf;
• Dedicated to elite women and girl’s golf development;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Sound management skills;
• Enthusiastic, personable and competitive.

Salary Band 4 (£24,000 - £36,000 + benefits)
The Championship department, as part of England Golf’s Strategy, are responsible for providing excellent championships and competitions for golfers of all levels. The Championship Manager’s purpose is to organise and administer the national championships/tournaments run by England Golf, as directed by the Championship Director.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- A Broad experience of Golf and Golf Administration
- Experience of playing/event running at County/Regional level
- Excellent knowledge of the Rules of Golf
- Good working knowledge of golf related software
- Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team and have strong communication and organisational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines are imperative.
A full clean driving licence and willingness to work unsocial hours and away from home are essential. The role will require regular levels of physical effort.

England Golf are looking to create a Golf Club Managers’ Advisory Group in 2014/2015 in order to shape the support England Golf provides to golf clubs. The intention is that the advisory group is made up of club managers from different backgrounds, knowledge and experience within the private member and commercial sectors, to ensure that England Golf receives an informed response around the key offers that are developing.
The group will look to advise and help shape the content and delivery of club related work, specifically in relation to the role of the club manager.
The objectives of the group are as follows:
- To support England Golf in implementing the ‘stronger clubs’ element within its strategic plan
- To act as advisors to the Participation & Club Support team, and other departments where applicable on delivering specific support to golf club managers
- To ensure that the needs of golf club managers are being reflected in the resources and programmes that England Golf provides to golf clubs
- To review existing golf club related offers as directed by England Golf
- To provide feedback on proposed golf club related offers as directed by England Golf
