"We have used the funding this year to primarily target adult beginners' classes which has produced a positive return. Since the introduction of the funded sessions, we have signed up 54 new members throughout the year as a direct result of this instruction. The related sales such as hardware, driving range tokens, green fees and general sales have made a noticeable difference to our income".

24,094 participants received a session in the 2010 / 2011 scheme, 46% of whom were adults and 54% juniors.
