Australian Spoons

Australian Spoons 2016

Competition Format

The Australian Spoons competition is a stableford foursomes tournament for women with handicaps of 15 and over.

Clubs are requested to hold at least one qualifying competition for their members, but competitors can enter as many times as they like and play with different partners at club level. Entry fee: £2.00 per player, per round (£4.00 per card). ALL entry fees payable to the Regional Organiser.

The pair who return the best score at each club are eligible for one of six regional finals and the winners of those will qualify for the national final, where they are the overnight guests of England Golf. The qualifying partnership must not change for the regional and national finals. The club qualifying period for the 2017 Australian Spoons begins on 1 January 2017.
