England Golf is delighted to announce Radnor Hills as our official water sponsor for the 2022 championship season.
The family-run firm will supply competitors, volunteers and officials at all our handicap and elite amateur events with water that is naturally filtered through ancient layers of rock and bottled at source within seven minutes for maximum freshness.
Importantly, Radnor Hills is a brand that also aligns with England Golf when it comes to ensuring sustainability is a crucial priority and at the heart of its company ethos.
Radnor Hills is proud to be recognised as a zero-to-landfill company since 2018, a strong supporter of the circular economy and a prominent industry voice when it comes to using recycled materials.
All Radnor Hills bottles and packaging are 100% recyclable and made from 30% recycled materials.
James Crampton, England Golf’s director of championships, said: “I’d like to welcome Radnor Hills to the England Golf championship ‘team’ for 2022.
“Ensuring that our players, volunteers and officials remain hydrated at championship events is something we take very seriously.
“By supplying Radnor Hills water to all our competitors on the first tee and at hydration stations around the course, the players will be properly fuelled throughout their rounds.
“Radnor Hills’ consideration for environmental issues also falls in line with the England Golf policy on sustainability”
“As part of our drive to ensure our championships are as environmentally friendly as possible, recycling bins are placed at strategic points on the course and we encourage all our competitors to play their part in a global sustainability effort.”
Chris Butler, marketing manager at Radnor Hills, commented: “We believe that sustainability doesn’t stop at one milestone; our pledge to the planet is that we will constantly improve wherever we can to become more sustainable and protect the environment around us.
“We are really proud to have been able to partner with England Golf for the 2022 season.
“England Golf share our passion for promoting recycling and a circular economy. We are pleased to be partnering with them through our 100% recyclable water which is also made from 30% recycled plastic and produced on our zero to landfill site.”
