About the England Golf Trust

The England Golf Trust provides financial support to young male and female golfers who are under 21 or in full-time education or following a recognised CPD qualification.

The objective of the Trust Fund is to help young golfers of all abilities with their golfing costs. Full details are under Available Funding.

The Trustees meet three times a year to consider the applications.

Money for the Trust Fund comes from donations from individuals, golf clubs and County Associations. In addition, money is raised through legacies as well various fund-raising activities such as the sale of England Golf diaries.

The EWGA Trust was founded in 1982 (then known as the ELGA Trust) and has supported countless girl golfers and helped them gain great enjoyment from the game. To enable young males to receive similar support the England Golf Trust was established in May 2015 with a remit to support all young people to participate in golf.
