Sports Publications, the publishers of National Club Golfer (NCG) and Lady Golfer magazines, have become the official media partner of England Golf.
The new agreement will see a number of NCG issues carry a dedicated section containing England Golf's news and helping readers learn more about the organisation and its work.
A separate women's England Golf magazine will be sent to all ladies' sections of clubs in England four times a year alongside Lady Golfer.
With clean, modern design values and compiled by NCG and Lady Golfer's own expert editorial teams, the magazines aim to reflect a vibrant and modernising governing body.
David Joy, England Golf's Chief Executive commented, “England Golf is delighted to be working with the team at Sports Publications. We are committed to improving our communication with golfers and golf clubs and have confidence that this new partnership with the creative team behind National Club Golfer and Lady Golfer, will help us to achieve this.”
NCG and Lady Golfer are currently finalising the ABC auditing process on monthly print runs of 60,000 and 15,000 respectively with their first certificate due in August. This is expected to show that NCG is officially the most widely circulated golf title in the UK and combined with a rapid growth in downloads of their new dynamic apps and views of the enhanced digital versions the partnership provides an excellent delivery opportunity for England Golf news.
As part of the agreement, England Golf will share the digital versions of both magazines with their growing database of 125,000 golf club members.
“We are proud to be working so closely with England Golf,” said Dan Murphy, Sports Publications' editorial director. "Our mission is to reach as many serious UK golfers as we possibly can and our content, whether in print or digital form, is designed to inform and entertain.
“We feel that England Golf share many of our values and vision for the future of the game.”
