England Golf signs letter to Prime Minister urging a rethink on course closures

England Golf CEO Jeremy Tomlinson is a signatory on a letter to the Prime Minister which makes a compelling case for golf courses to be allowed to stay open during the second national lockdown.

Craig Tracey MP – the chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Golf – has written to Boris Johnson on behalf of England Golf, the PGA, The R&A, BIGGA and other leading groups from the golf industry.

In the letter, it is argued that golf courses should stay open from Thursday as an extension of recreation due to the benefits it provides for physical and, perhaps more importantly, mental health.
