England Golf is proud to announce an extension to our partnership with adidas Golf.
The new multi-year deal will see adidas Golf provide team apparel, footwear and accessories to the England national squads and teams across all genders and age categories.
After a curtailed, but successful season in 2020, adidas Golf will once again help the best amateur golfers in the country, such as men’s squad player Robin Williams pictured below, pursue excellence in 2021.
Off the fairways, adidas Golf and England Golf are also perfectly aligned with their commitment to inclusivity and sustainability, ensuring the game is recognised as a sport for everyone and with a socially responsible attitude to the world we live in.
“As a brand that’s dedicated to inclusivity both within our own walls and through the products we make, we’re looking forward to continuing our work with England Golf and their projects to ensure that the sport of golf is accessible to all,” said Andrew Law, managing director of adidas Golf, EMEA.
“Sustainability is also at the forefront of our brand, so providing products made with sustainable materials for the elite teams is yet another example of how we are furthering our mission to end plastic waste.”
England Golf CEO, Jeremy Tomlinson, added: “Two of our key values at England Golf are ‘Be Responsible’ and ‘Be Inclusive’, so to be partnered with a brand that aligns with these values is very important.
“We are excited to continue this partnership and collaborate to make a difference at an amateur level.”
England Golf and adidas have been in partnership since 2015 and are committed to innovation and excellence in the sporting arena.
Last year England Golf players and the adidas brand were synonymous with success at the highest level of the amateur game across the globe.
In Australia, women’s squad member Charlotte Heath (pictured above) claimed victory at the Australian Women’s Amateur.
Men’s squad player Ben Schmidt also enjoyed success down under by winning the New South Wales Amateur with the distinctive 3-Stripes and English rose to the fore (main image).
In Europe, Harry Goddard took the Portuguese Amateur crown in some style.
Joe Long then capped a brilliant season by becoming The R&A Amateur Champion with a win over England team-mate Joe Harvey in a thrilling final at Royal Birkdale Golf Club.
