Golf clubs across the country have coined in huge savings on their bills after signing up to enjoy the benefits of England Golf’s Buying Group powered by GMG.
Affiliated clubs from Cheshire to Sussex, Merseyside to Gloucestershire cashed in on the partnerships available through England Golf.
By becoming part of a nationwide buying group, clubs have been able to save on a range of services including electricity and gas bills, waste management, catering costs and insurance.
In the recent GMG ‘Oscars’, no fewer than nine of the 14 top performing clubs in terms of savings across seven categories came from England.
Nuneaton Golf Club in Warwickshire saved a fantastic £21,951 on their electricity costs thanks to being part of the buying group. Kirtlington Golf Club in Oxfordshire were runner up in that category with annual savings of £17,523
Denham Golf Club in Buckinghamshire saved £3,600 on waste management and £6,700 on catering.
Willingdon Golf Club in Sussex took advantage of the buying group’s collective powers to save £15,000 on bar supplies while Prestbury Golf Club saved £3,500.
Leasowe Golf Club on Wirral made savings of £4,500 on insurance while Hesketh Golf Club on Merseyside were even able to hold back £867 on washroom costs.

“We now have over 250 clubs engaged with the buying group and the total money saved is £570,000.
