This online classroom will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and give you the knowledge and confidence needed to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should they ever arise.
This virtual session of Safeguarding & Protecting Children (SPC) is an alternative delivery method created by UK Coaching. It replaces the previous face-to-face SPC workshop and has the same learning outcomes, therefore meeting the requirements of the England Golf SafeGolf accreditation.
A UK Coaching Tutor will deliver this interactive session via Webex or Zoom and you will be involved in real-time activities and discussions.
England Golf in conjunction with UK Coaching is organising a number of these online classrooms specifically for staff and volunteers involved in golf, at a cost of £30 per person (over 18’s only), see below for England Golf workshops. If there are no suitable dates listed below then please visit the UK Coaching website where you will find additional dates, including some held at weekends.
PLEASE NOTE: Welfare officers must have attended an SPC before a Time to Listen course. You can book your place on a TTL at the same time as booking your SPC so long as you attend the TTL after the SPC. The TTL booking system asks if you have attended an SPC. If you have your SPC booked, but haven’t yet attended, please tick YES on the TTL booking system. You do not have to wait.
