City & Guilds Certificate in Golf Greenkeeping

Greenkeeper apprenticeships

The Certificate in Golf Greenkeeping was created by the Greenkeepers Training Committee (GTC).

It gives young people a chance to earn while they learn and kick-start their greenkeeping career.

Hiring apprentices helps you make sure your staff are trained to a high standard. From preparing the course to maintaining equipment, they’ll learn skills that support the club and maintain your course.

Your apprentice might be someone already working at your club who wants to expand their skills. Or it could be a new employee.

We’ve put together all the information you need in one place, including benefits for your club, funding and training.
