Regarded as one of the finest tests of inland golf, the course is frequently graded in the Top 100 and is built on predominantly sandy heathland, which drains exceptionally well and provides an excellent surface for all year round golf, with the greens being voted ”best on the European Tour”. The course is flat and tree lined, with heather and well placed bunkers providing the hazards, a good challenge for all golfers.
