County Card

From the 1st Jan 2010, each member of a Wiltshire affiliated club, will receive a county card, as part of their affiliation fee. This will entitle members to play golf at discounted rates throughout England (roughly 30 counties have signed up), subject to making arrangements with the club beforehand. The fee charged will roughly equate to a members guest rate, or 50% of a daily green fee. This charge is to be determined by the club, and they also have the right to ask you to rearrange if they are busy that day. Not all clubs in England subscribe to the system, but those that do, with contact detail, can be found on the website wcgu.org.uk under the county card section. For Wiltshire members, the card entitles you to a full days golf for the prescribed fee, within the county, and it should be noted that the card cannot be used for society visits.
