About Us
The Gloucestershire Golf Union was originally founded in 1906 and exists to represent male golfers in the county and to promote the game of golf. The GGU is the effective link with the English Golf Union (EGU) it has many responsibilities, not least the development and application of the National Handicapping Scheme.
An Executive Committee runs the Unions affairs together with a full time salaried County Secretary.
Test yourself on the practice ground with the County training squad's Elite Skills Test. This is now available in the latest on-line publishing page turning format!
