Ryder Cup players, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, have transformed this intriguing piece of land into one of the most beautiful golf courses in the country – a mixture of classic links and modern championship course. The club is named after the Greenwich Meridian Line which runs through the course. Only eleven courses in the world span the Meridian Line - ten in England and one in France. The 210 acre site exudes peace and tranquility, so much so that visitors easily forget that the hustle and bustle of the city of Cambridge is a mere 5 miles away. With water hazards on all but five of the holes and large, undulating greens built to USGA championship course standards, you need both a fearless approach and a steady head.
