Competition format

The Tournament is played by 36 holes of handicap stableford over two days. Each County Union may nominate one club to compete in the Tournament.

A team consists of three players (boys, girls, or mixed). The Winning Club shall be the one with the highest aggregate net stableford score over 36 holes, taking the best two of three scores in each round.

The maximum playing handicap is 24 for boys and 36 for girls and team members must be under the age of 18 on 1st January of the year in which the Tournament is played.

26.08.12: Bridgnorth clinch title on countback after agonising wait - Bridgnorth became the first club from Shropshire Herefordshire to win the Junior Champion Club Tournament when they came up on the rails to pip Fynn Valley from Suffolk on countback over the Bracken Course at Woodhall Spa.

18.08.11: Coxmoor's all-girl team challenge for Junior Champion Club - For the first time in the competition's comparatively short history, an all-girls team will be competing in the Junior Champion Club tournament over the Bracken Course at Woodhall Spa on 20th - 21st August.
