Schools' Team Championship
Competition Summary
The Championship is run by England Golf in partnership with the English Schools Golf Association (ESGA).
It is open to all English schools, except those which have entry qualifications related to sporting achievement or skills.
Each school team has three players (boys, girls, or mixed).
The Championship shall be played by 18 holes of handicap stableford (full handicap allowance).

- 11.07.12: Oh Brother! Shepherd boys see Bedford to title - It may not have been a case of brotherly love but the brothers Shepherd pulled together to steer Bedford Modern to a sensational victory in the English Schools Team Championship, sponsored by the NASUWT, at Woodhall Spa.

Last July, the team from Woodbridge School (Picture (c) Tom Ward) waited in hope at misty Came Down only to be pipped for the English Schools Team Championship, but in the sunshine of Woodhall Spa they emerged victorious - by a whisker.
- 07.07.10: Lancaster lads sweep put of the mist - A two-hour delay following early morning mist forced the English Schools Team Championship to be cut to nine holes at Came Down. But it didn't cause the Lancaster Royal Grammar School many problems as they won the title with 43 Stableford points (picture (c) Tom Ward).

Created by Donald Steel, one of Britain’s foremost golf course architects, The Bracken Course, which opened in 1998, has evolved into a course of exceptional finesse that is appreciated and enjoyed by golfers of all abilities.
